Brilliant morning in the North Sea

This morning was brilliant for cetacean watching. Even the persistent rain couldn’t keep the passengers away! Between 08:00 and 08:30 we had six harbour porpoises in ones and twos. Then at 09:45 we spotted a minke whale off the starboard side, only 800 meters away. Finally we saw three white beaked dolphins swimming across the bow only 15 minutes away from the mouth of the Tyne. It felt like every 10 minutes someone cried out and we had another sighting. A great morning on the King Seaways!
