Wildlife Officers Season on The King of Scandinavia

The start of the season for the King of Scandinavia Wildlife Officers started well with Kathryn giving a presentation about The North Sea habitats and the partnership between the marine conservation charity ORCA and DFDS Seaways.  Afterwards we went on deck to spot wildlife and saw 3 porpoises moving very close to the ship.  We also had good views of gannets, kittiwakes, cormorants and razorbills.

The ORCA Wildlife Centre opened that evening and lots of children came in with their parents to play games, draw and learn about marine animals and their conservation.  We will be looking out for wildlife and developing fun activities throughout the season so please come and get on board with ORCA and DFDS Seaways.
